It's still about. So you must need to clear your Cache's, etc.

It has come back for me, but still horrible and speckled. Please could it be de-speckled?

Ah ha! I have just worked out how to convert to ico format, and the official favicon, in .ico format, is now here. Please use this one as it correctly converts colours.

Please don’t forget the better favicon: the dithered monstrosity causes me anguish every time I see it.

You should be able to right-click and save it, or control-click, but emailed anyway.

Nope - saves as html or random file or JPEG, hence the request.
