Corkscrews and Screwpull

Our trusty screwpull finally died after years of faithful service, the screw/worm thread shearing; it did still manage to open the bottle, with pliers attached. So, while I fully expect to rush out and buy another one, has anything better come along in the ~10yrs since we got the last one?

A quick scan seems to show the same model of screwpull still around, there's a similar with a ball (to make the cork removal easier) though that looks less useful for longer corks, and there is the Durand - but is it really worth it at about 10x the price? Any other recommendations?
(warning: I will likely just go out and buy another identical screwpull in the meantime in order to open some port tonight!)

When at home, I still use an old-fashioned T-pull corkscrew that has a very long and wide thread.

When travelling, I use a waiter's friend - the one that Niepoort make has a long thread on it.

I've never used a Durand, but people who do say that it is a great way to get port corks out of old bottles with a high success rate of getting the cork out intact.
