2005 Chateau du Gaby
This is a minor Canon-Fronsac wine from a good vintage. Full of ripe blackcurrant on the nose and palate, still very youthful. Generous fruit, soft tannins and modest acidty leaves an impression of an enjoyable wine with plenty of life ahead of it. Not a big wine, but a very nice one. 85/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
