Port

Post by stephen eggins »

Guys - my port days are behind me.

I used to belong to a nice port society called the Tappit Hen.

I have a few v nice bottles of vintage port that I wld like to donate to a port society.

Preferably one in the London area.

First come first served

We have regular tastings, and would be honoured to hold your bottles and toast you with them.

This is most unusual how should it be done?

Stephen,

It was very nice to meet you today and thank you again for your very kind donation to the :tpf: team cellar.

I have asked some of the team to let me know if they would like to know what you have given us or wait until I get an opportunity to serve them these ports blind.

We will be sure to let you know how these bottles perform.

Thank you again.

I don’t know what we have been given, but this is a most unusual and entirely delightful honour. Thank you.

A most generous offer.

I would be happy to arrange collection and provide cellar space.
