Decanted 12:30. The filter had to be switched, so sediment not photographed.

T60: brick red, 20% opaque. Not a very good bottle. rather too light and hot to be convincing, even if there was a hint of strawberry.

A light orange colour, 15% opaque. Smelly nose, some remnants of bottle stink perhaps? Certainly a touch of spearmint. Quite empty on entry; hints of the stink on the palate but little fruit, just artificial sweetner. Heat on the aftertaste, then a quick burst of cherry cough mixture; decent length of sticky sweetness. A very bland bottle. 84/100. 22-Mar-13. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
