2001 Quinta dos Malvedos

Deep red, opaque. Closed nose; restrained fruit on entry. Soft tannins support a pleasant tannin infused stewed fruit. Modest finish. Light but pleasant. 84/100. 20-Feb-13 at the New Douro Tasting.
