1983 Niepoort vintage port

Pale pink, 10% opaque. Astonishingly odd nose - but this came down to a dirty glass! Light and elegant, plenty of fruit but quite a lightweight wine. Very pleasant and attractive. 87/100. Drunk at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
