1998 Quinta do Panascal vintage port

From Fonseca. Light red, mature edge, 75% opque. Closed on the nose; hollow entry but with lots of tannins hidden in the strawberry syrup on the mid-palate. Sweet finish. A light but pleasant port. 85/100. Tasted at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
