1970 Ramos Pinto vintage port

Made principally from grapes grown in the Cima Corgo. Pale pink, 10% opaque. Hollow nose. Light and elegant palate, plenty of sweet fruit. Delightful sweet fruit finish. A lovely port very much made in an elegant style. 89/100. Tasted at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
