2005 Quinta de la Rosa vintage port

Red throughout, 90% opaque, little on the nose. Tannic palate but with generous underlying fruit. Good mid- to light-weight palate presence. Sweet fruit aftertaste and a lovely sweet fruit finish. 85/100. Tasted at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
