Stewed fruit on the nose, crushed leaves adding an herbaceous twist. Gentle fruit with a powerful acidity. Lighter in texture than many and with gentle tannins. 88-90. Tasted over 1-4 days.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
