2011 Dalva

Delicate fruit nose, with plenty of sour berries. Light to medium-bodied with a sharp edge and bitter espresso tannins with the fruit having an attractive perfume on the late palate. Light honey aftertaste and a soft, dry finish. An early drinking elegant port. 84-86. Tasted over 1-4 days as part of the extended 2011 tasting.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
