Snapshot tasting. Purple and solid except for the very edge. Violet and purple fruit on the subdued nose. Smooth in texture, full of rich sweet fruit that cover some very powerful tannins. Sweet fruit on the aftertaste and a very long finish chock full of tannins. 94-96 Snapshot tasting on 20 May 2013.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
