2011 Quinta do Noval Nacional

220 cases made. Pure purple. Lovely ripe nose, full of flower perfume. Beautiful balance and elegance on the palate with sweet fruit and a powerful acidity. A long finish combining perfectly elegance and power. This is a very fine port. 96-98. Tasted over 1-4 days as part of the extended 2011 tasting.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
