Note that there is no 2010 Chryseia so when this vintage has sold through, the next release will be 2011.
This was a rich red colour, with no hint of purple remaining. Leather and brambles show on the expressive nose. Sweet rich fruit on entry, ripe and attractive. Strong tannins lurk under the fruit, tannins which support a long, long finish. This is a fine and serious wine, one which will be great fun to watch as it matures. 92/100.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
