40% Touriga Nacional, 31% Touriga Franca, 23% very old mixed vines, 6% Sousao. Sourced from Quinta dos Malvedos (35%), Quinta da Tua (16%), Quinta das Lages (12%), Quinta da Vila Velha (18%), Quinta do Vale de Malhadas (19%).

Very dark in colour with a tiny transparent rim. Restrained nose, but rich and attractive. Fruit forward, but the big tannins quickly grab attention. The soft and sweet fruit is never dominated and brings a lovely curry leaf edge to the palate. Warm and rich finish of great length. A very fine port. 94-96. Pop 'n' pour. 4 Sep 2013.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
