2001 Graham Malvedos

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Fresh nutmeg and blueberry nose. Lovely velvet texture on the palate; terrific sweet fruit with a lovely strawberry caramel, very gentle tannins and a lovely palate presence. Dry cedar finish of great length. This is drinking very well today, but should remain on its plateau for at least another 5-10 years. 90/100. Decanted 1 hour. 4 Sep 2013.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
