With Andy Velebil visiting from California, it would have been rude not to. So we did, in The Bung Hole, on Tuesday 8^th October 2013.

T70, decanted 12:30. Red, 50% opaque. Initially, and disappointingly, nosed strongly of mothballs, with taste to match. Two hours in the glass worked wonders, leaving a pleasant port with hints of pears and mint.

Modest red, pale centre; 50% opaque. Horrible nose, full of moth balls. Moth balls all over the palate. Revolting, probably the result of bacterial spoiling. Perhaps I made a mistake in not going back to this a few hours later.
