We've arranged good offsite storage for all wines and ports that we don't intend to drink in the coming four years, but we have some serious drinking to do before we leave. We can't take much with us, and we have at least 50 bottles that we don't want to cellar for a long time. And almost none of those are port.... I must say that it's actually really good fun drinking all those wines. In the last week we've had a Didinger Spätlese Trocken 2005, Crasto Reserva 2000, Jaboulet Hermitage Pied de la Cote 1999, and some more.
In the meantime I'm really looking forward to the Christmas offline, that should bring up the Port consumption a notch!
Now, if I can only find a good address for Port in Oman...
