The Domaine Alice Hartmann is in my opinion Luxembourg's best producer (and also purveyors to the grand ducal household) and the Koeppchen one of the most famous vineyards in the Moselle Luxembourgeoise.
I could buy some bottles of the '08 vintage in 2012 when a friend in Luxembourg cleared his cellar. I then placed a subsciption in October 2012 for this wine at Alice Hartmann and will be able to get the first bottles next month (i.e. May 2014). Because of the tiny production there was a waiting list of almost two years. The wines are not expensive (the Riesling costs around 12 Euros), but simply scarce due to the tiny production.
2008 Alice Hartmann Wormeldange Koeppchen La Chapelle Riesling
golden yellow, smells of apricot and slightly of petrol, full bodied, not really sweet, but more dry, could have more acidity, apricot in the aftertaste, a finish of good lenght
I'm not sure if I should drink up the remaining bottles or age them further

Thanks for posting the Riesling tasting notes; always good to have recommendations (dry Riesling is my favourite wine).
