2011 Künstler Rüdesheimer Klosterlay Riesling Kabinett trocken:
pale yellow, smells mineral, a little bit of petrol and also of peach, too, medium body, quite dry (a little bit tart in my view), has a nice acidity, in the mouth mineral and a slight petrol note, good medium-length finish with some peach, I would have prefered this wine with a dash more of residual sugar (but perhaps two more years in bottle would solve this problem, Rheingau Rieslings are traditionally a bit tart in their youth and get more balanced with age), nevertheless a good Riesling, I have not tried wine by Künstler before and will definetely try more of this producer
