2012 Dow Senhora da Ribeira

450 cases produced; cask sample. Purple and youthful, opaque. Very gentle on the nose, soft and floral. Soft sweet fruit dominates the first impression on the palate with the acidity and soft tannins powering through on the mid-palate but the fruit drives the finish. Very attractive, with a lovely balance and minerality. 90-92. Tasted 24-Apr-14.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
