Bottled 2013. Medium red with some maturity showing in the colour. Delicate and floral on the nose, pronounced and attractive. Lovely texture with soft, ripe fruit before pretty big tannins grab hold. Decent body, if slightly tannins. Long and big finish with wonderful fruit and chewy tannins. There is a delicious sweetness to the fruity finish. 85/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
