Bottled 2013. Soft sweet nose, very open. Mid-weight entry, initially of sweet and modest fruit but then the tannic support comes through. Lovely sweet fruit on the finish. Attractive but slightly simple. 84/100. Drunk 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
