From a neighbouring estate and under the same ownership as Ducru Beaucaillou.
Purchased from En Premeur for £140 IB for a case of 12.
Very tannic with lots of structure and dense fruit. The weight and texture are impressive for a wine at this price point. Not as elegant as the La Croix de Beaucaillou from the same vintage but half the price.
Nice to drink now but best left for a decade or more.
