1989 Chateau Cos d'Estournel, St Julien
A half bottle. Tainted by too much brett., but attractive and enjoyable. Still deeply tannic but with sweet red fruit and a good length. 88/100. Drunk 10-Apr-14. 1 hour decant.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
