NV Fonseca Terra Prima

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep purple and with a narrow transparent rim; opaque centre. Very little on the nose, just some vague bruised fruit. Smooth in texture on the palate, with some bramble fruit and very gentle tannins. A very soft port for current drinking. 83/100. Drunk 03-Jun-14.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
