Bottled 2014. Deep red and opaque. Modest floral nose. Lovely texture bringing restrained gentle fruit. The soft tannins provide some support but they are modest in their grip. The soft tannins dominate the aftertaste but the fruit leads on the finish. 85/100. Drunk 03-Jun-14.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
