A village wine from the Mosel (or to be more precise, from the Ruwer valley within the Mosel wine region).
A very pale golden colour, smells very mineral and of melon, medium body, a nice and crisp/sprightly acidity, dry, but not in a harsh way, in the mouth mineral and melon, melon and a slight hint of nut (?) in the aftertaste, finish of circa 10 seconds. A very tasty and pleasant to drink Mosel Riesling.
Phil, you really should include one bottle of this wine in your next order at the Kölner Weinkeller.
