1955 Graham

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Slightly darker than the Dow 1955 shown alongside; a rich red ochre; 60% opaque. Sweet fruit on the nose, rich and attractive but with a hint of harshness. Smooth in texture, sweet and complex fruit with a terrific depth of flavour and a huge late palate presence. Thick texture and a powerful finish of typical rich Graham fruitcake. 95/100. Drunk 25-Jun-14. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
