Massive chewy tobacco and steak nose. Like biltong in fact.
Very dry straight away. Big tannins begin very quickly. Dry fruit rises, finish is hugely dry and peppery but not particularly long.
This was finished a day later and was quieter, rounder, less mouth-scrunchingly dry. For drinking now, less approachable than the Exhibition Pauillac.
