2012 Kloster Eberbach Steinberger Riesling Spätlese
Over 90 g/L of residual sugar. Full buttery nose. The sweetness is clean and balanced. Yes, it's clearly there, but it's not too much, it's very restrained. The sweet Steinbergers seem to be better than the dry. AW77 thought this was definitely a good dessert wine (perhaps with an apple strüdel).

I just noted: "90 gr. residual sugar, but it's not too sweet or cloying, as it is balanced by the acidity, really very good". In general I liked the sweet Steinbergers better that the dry ones. They were simply better made.
