Light plumminess, like ripe greengages. The sweetness is not too thick, it has a freshness; just enough acid to keep it clean.

I just noted: "smells mineral + a little bit of mirabelle plum, not that sweet, fresh, a good Kabinett". In general I liked the sweet Steinbergers better that the dry ones. They were simply better made.
