1992 Delaforce

Drunk at Carvalhas. Dusty nose with nutmeg and dark fruit. Smooth sweet fruit on the palate and gentle tannins that build quickly and help deliver the delicious redcurrant. Hot and spicy finish with lots of chilli powder giving a touch of fire. Pleasant and still youthful. 89/100. Drunk 25-Sep-14. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
