500-600 litres, this was an early cask sample. Powerful tannins dominate the fruit. Very interesting to try, perhaps this will make a vintage port. The grapes were harvested before the main rain. NR. Drunk 24-Sep-14.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
