1952 Dalva Golden White Colheita (bottled 2007)

Bottled 2007. Light amber-brown in colour, 10% opaque. Lots of VA on the nose, some varnish. Thick and unctuous on the palate; intense and with huge acidity. A wonderful concentrated orange. An immense flavoursome aftertaste and massive length. A huge acidity that finally fades to give a lingering, sticky marmalade. 95/100. Drunk 23-Sep-14. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
