1997 Quinta do Noval Colheita (bottled 2014)

Bottled 2014. Deep mahogany in colour, 60% opaque. Big and expressive nose of colheita - nutty and full of VA. Thick in texture with intense acidity; rich flavours of date and dried fig. The aftertaste is just as intense, long and powerful, with touches of coffee and tangerine. This has astonishing intensity for such a young colheita. 92/100. Drunk 24-Sep-14. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
