1978 Barros Colheita (bottled 2015)

Bottled 2015. Rust red in colour, 50% opaque. Fruity on the nose with a touch of VA. Deep and rich on the palate with burnt sugar and pineapple acidity. Great complexity and even some tannins remaining in the wine. 91/100. Tasted 05-Mar-15.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
