2003 Kopke White Colheita (bottled 2015)

Bottled 2015. Very pale apricot in colour, less than 10% opacity. Gentle apricots on the nose; sweet apricots and hazelnut on the entry. Soft with a sweet strawberry finish and a hint of resin. Freesia perfume on the aftertaste, then a sweet and slightly cloying finish with a cedar edge. A bit to blowsy and lacking in acidity for my taste. 85/100. Drunk 05-Mar-15.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
