NV Kopke Tawny 30YO (bottled 2015)

Bottled 2015. Served chilled and therefore showing little on the nose. A lovely, smooth texture. A great structure on the palate with significant tannins compensating for limited acidity to balance the sweetness and dried fruit. The combination is unusual for a TWIoA and combine to give a great palate. Sadly the lack of acidity does detract from the aftertaste and finish and results in a slightly flabby impression. 88/100. Tasted 05-Mar-15.
