NV Kopke White 30YO (bottled 2015)

Bottled 2015. Russet brown in colour, 30% opaque. A rich nose on honey and dried apples, sweet and attractive. Thick and sweet in texture but with a fierce and dry acidity which combine to give a powerful palate. There is surprisingly little VA for a 30 year old tawny. The finish is long and enjoyable. 89/100. Tasted 05-Mar-15.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
