NV Quinta do Noval Tawny 20YO (bottled 2013)

Bottled 2013. Chestnut red, 20% opaque. Developed colheita nose, very pronounced. Modest texture on entry with a good dose of acidity driving a mouthful of dried pineapple, lychee and sour apricots. The palate is lovely even though it arrives very late. A pleasant after taste and a delicious long finish of brown sugar and grapefruit. 90/100. May 2015.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
