Brick red, 20% opaque. Attractive nose with soft sweet quince paste scents. Rich and satisfying on the palate with a good balance and a nice freshness. Lovely finish. Very pleasant drinking. 86/100. June 2015.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
