2005 Quinta da Pedra Alta LBV

Bottled unfiltered in 2010. Produced by Vinhos Quinta da Pedra Alta SA in Faivos. Deep red but mature in appearance without yet bricking. Attractive nose, full of mature fruit. Lovely concentration of sweet bramble jelly on the palate with a lovely set of flavours. Nicely balanced and with good maturity this is drinking very well today. The finish is enjoyable and lasts well. 89/100. June 2015.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
