The second of two bottles of this port drunk at the East India Club on 13 January 2016. A tasting note will follow.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny

The second of two bottles bought from the dining room of the East India Club, who had cellared them since being shipped to the UK, to accompany dinner. Very tasty and improved considerably with the benefit of two hours in the glass, but remained more angular and minty than the first bottle. 89/100. Drunk 13-Jan-16. Decanted 2 hours.

F77, b. Hotter and mintier than the first F77, but at its core the same fullness.
