2011 Graham LBV

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Dark red and opaque. Very subdued nose. Slightly aggressive entry with acidity leading to fragrant fruit. Bramble fruit and citric acidity. Rounded and mouthfilling aftertaste with a long finish of perfumed fruit. Chewy and fruity right to the end. Very different in style from the 6 Grapes shown alongside. 88/100. 24-Feb-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
