NV Barros Tawny 20YO

Ochre orange in colour; 10% opaque. Ground pistachio on the nose, infused with orange blossom. Nice texture and a nice complexity with a good honey sweetness wrapped around soft, dry dates. Great palate development with a lovely fragrance. A significant step up in quality from the Barros 10YO tawny. 88/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
