1984 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2016)

Bottled 2016. Honey brown colour with a pale orange rim, 15% opaque. Pronounced nose with lots of honey and pistachio paste. A lovely texture on the palate, bringing clover honey and a terrific dose of mandarin acidity. Delicious and mouthfilling on the finish with burnt sugar, honey and creme brulee. 90/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
