2003 Quinta do Noval

Deep red with a narrow rim. Sweet fruit on the nose, a lovely strawberry. The sweet fruit comes through on the first impact on the palate before powerful tannins grab the mid-palate and hold on with vigour! Sweet fruit aftertaste and a huge finish. This port has huge levels of fruit and great balance but needs decades in the cellar to become tamed. 95/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
