From magnum.
Fine sediment settled in the glass. A mature ochre colour, 30% opaque. A nose more expected on a colheita with fresh figs and cedarwood, perhaps with a touch of bake. An odd palate, oxidised and baked with high tones of almonds and sweet gooseberry. Good acidity but damaged by oxidation or perhaps light. A soft icing sugar finish. Good length, but a disappointing bottle. 85/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
